Once you subscribe, you are in the queue and will be assigned to the first available spot on a solar farm.
No. It is not a requirement that you have an online account with your electric utility.
No. Your utility will continue to deliver your energy and you’ll maintain your account with them just as before.
Once you subscribe to community solar with the organizations promo code and are assigned to a farm, your organization will automatically receive the $50 donation. Donations will be sent to the organization on a monthly basis.
No. If there is no available output from the solar farm, your electricity will still be supplied from your utility provider as it is today. You will see no impact in your home.
No. There are local solar farms where solar energy comes from. There is nothing to build or hookup. Your utility provider is already hooked up to the farm.
No. The process to connect you to a community solar farm is done virtually.
No. Upgrades to the infrastructure and repairs to the equipment is the responsibility of the solar energy company.
No. You will receive credits on your utility bill for your solar use. You will receive a monthly bill from the solar farm that you are assigned to.
We ask for your preferred payment method in order to sign up for our Bill Pay program since you will be paying your utility bill through our system. This process allows us to apply the savings from our community solar program.
We accept checking accounts and major credit cards. If you pay by credit card, you will be charged a 3% processing fee to cover credit card transactions.
No. There are no fees or additional costs when subscribing to our community solar program.
Yes, your information is confidential and protected.
Payment Information. When purchasing community solar, you will be asked to submit payment information. This information is passed to our payment processing partners and is not collected or stored by ReWire.

No. Like other utilities, community solar is not transferable to the next owner
Follow the same process as you have today. Call your utility company to report the outage. The utility company still owns and operates the power lines that are connected to your home.
Yes. You just need to provide 90 days’ written notice to cancel.
If you cancel without providing 90-day notice, you will be charged a one-time cancellation fee of $500.
